ECHOCARDIOGRAM
Ultrasound study of the heart used to evaluate its structures and function. It is instrumental in detecting lschemic CAD, Cardiomyopathies, and valvular abnormalities.
CAROTID DOPPLERS
Ultrasound study used to image arteries that bring blood flow directly to the brain. Data provided from this exam will aid in assessing stroke risk.
LE ARTERIAL DOPPLERS
Ultrasound study used to evaluate blood flow in the legs accessing arterial circulation. This test identifies the presence of peripheral vascular disease.
LE VENOUS DOPPLERS
Ultrasound study used to determine the presence of a Deep Vein Thrombosis or to evaluate varicose veins and venous insufficiency.
ABDOMINAL AORTIC ULTRASOUND
Ultrasound study used to determine the presence of an Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm. All patents between the ages of 65-75 who have smoked or are hypertensive are recommended to have this test done at least once.
ANKLE BRACHIAL INDEX
We take blood pressures in the ankles and compare it to the blood pressure in the Brachia! Artery and calculate a score. This score is used to determine the severity of Peripheral Vascular Disease.
